DIFLUCAN is a tablet you swallow to treat vaginal
yeast infections caused by a yeast called Candida.
DIFLUCAN helps stop too much yeast from growing in the
vagina so the yeast infection goes away. DIFLUCAN is
different from other treatments for vaginal yeast
infections because it is a tablet taken by mouth.
Famvir (famciclovir) is an oral antiviral
prescription medication that is prescribed for treatment
of recurrent genital herpes in otherwise healthy
patients, suppression of recurrent genital herpes in
otherwise healthy patients
and treatment of herpes zoster (shingles). It is the
only antiviral indicated to treat genital and/or
orolabial HSV in HIV+ patients.
Triphasil is used to prevent pregnancy or to regulate
your menstrual cycle. Certain brands of birth control
pills may be used for treating acne or as a "morning
after" pill for emergency contraception. Consult your
doctor or pharmacist. Use of Triphasil does not protect
you or your partner against sexually transmitted
diseases (e.g., HIV, gonorrhea).
Vaniqa is the first and only prescription product for
women clinically proven to slow unwanted facial hair (UFH)
growth in women with improvements seen in as little as
4-8 weeks. It interferes with an enzyme needed in the
skin for hair growth but does not remove hair. Vaniqa is
not for use in children under the age of 12 years.
